COVID - 19

FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we announce to you that our Sunday and Wednesday Services will resume beginning May 10, 2020. Our church family’s health and safety is very important to us. With the MO governor and the CDC’s recommendation and time in prayer, we are confident we can provide your family with a safe environment in which to worship.

We have adopted a three phase system to reopening our building for in-person worship. We will start Phase I this Sunday, May 10 and will include Sunday Worship Services and Wednesday night Bible Study. Small groups can also resume at homes or at the church, if more space is needed for social distancing. During these services, both on Sundays and Wednesdays, children’s ministries will not be available during Phase I. The seating in the sanctuary will be organized in such a way to socially distance families from each other and hand sanitizer will be available at all entrances. Ushers will be available at all times to open doors so that congregants can enter and exit the building without touching door handles. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask while attending church service, please do so. It will not be a requirement to wear one. We will have custodial volunteers cleaning and sanitizing the building after use.

If you or anyone in your family does not feel well or is running a fever, we ask that the family stay home until your family member is feeling well again. Our Worship Services will continue to be shared on Facebook Live and can also be viewed at any time on both Pastor Larry and Fellowship Baptist Church’s Facebook page.

It is unknown at this time when Phase II will commence, but we will continue to watch the progression of COVID-19 and determine that at a later date. We’ll count our blessings as they come. We hope you all are doing well, and we will continue to pray for God to put a hedge of protection around you. See you this Sunday!

Please call me (341-6227) or one of our deacons if you have a need; we are still here to minister to you.

Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

In Christ’s Love,
Pastor Larry and the leaders of Fellowship Baptist Church
